In order to achieve its objectives, the association boasts of an elaborate leadership structure running from the farmers’ level through the constituency to county and national level. The NEC is composed of the AAK board members, the Chief Executive Officer in an ex-officio member and the secretary of the NEC. The AGM is the top most open consultative forum held annually to deliberate on the associations business. It is made up of five representatives from each level of the association’s membership the chairman, secretary, treasure, youth and women.
